Two of the biggest players in the heavy equipment industry inked a deal this week to bring a global presence to the auction market.The largest Caterpillar dealer in the world, Vancouver, BC–based Finning announced Tuesday that it will jointly market used heavy equipment through Cat Auction Services, IronPlanet’s unreserved auction marketplace.
The first fruits of this partnership will be harvested October 21, when Finning hosts IronPlanet’s first Canadian Cat Auction Services event in Edmonton, Alberta.
