More toll lanes could be coming to a future expanded Interstate 635 in Dallas, Texas.

Work on expanding 11 miles of the LBJ Expressway to five lanes in each direction would begin in 2019, according to NBC DFW.

The $1.8 billion project would include two managed toll lanes in each direction for the entire stretch, not just a portion of the tollway, as was previously planned, the station reports.

The expansion would occur between the U.S. 75 Central Expressway and Interstate 30. The project is planned by the North Central Texas Council of Governments and the Texas Department of Transportation.

The station reports that the work would be completed in 2027 and be done in four phases.
