Eterra has used concrete-breaking technology to give its new PDX-750 Breaker Style Post Driver maximum force when driving posts, the company says.

The attachment, designed for use on skid steers, compact track loaders, backhoes and excavators, is powered by a nitrogen-charged power cell encased in heavy duty housing for protection and durability.

It has an optional tilt function that provides up to 15 degrees of angle side-to-side for working in uneven conditions. Skid steers and compact track loaders can operate the tilt function with electronic controls. It also bolts on easily to excavator and backhoe couplers, the company says.

Buyers can also choose two driver head options: open-style coned or flat cup. The open-style coned head can handle posts up to 8 inches. The flat-cup style includes four eyelet options for a variety of post sizes and an additional housing/guide for odd-shaped posts.

Operators can easily switch between the two driver head styles, the company says. A 5-foot concrete breaker tool is also an option, for handling excess concrete or rocky soil that requires pre-driving.
