Volvo Vnx Series 3 Lead 08 A0997 Org V1DEX Heavy Duty Parts, a subsidiary of Volvo Group, is opening a new 153,000-square-foot facility in Oklahoma City.

The subsidiary supplies recycled, renovated and surplus medium- and heavy-duty truck parts to second- and third-generation truck owners. It also has a location in Advance, North Carolina.

“We’re pleased to open a second DEX Heavy Duty Parts facility in Oklahoma City, enabling us to reach even more distributors,” said Darin Redmon, DEX director of operations. “Extending the life of used parts through recycling and refurbishing is good for the environment and beneficial to our customers.”

Volvo invested $5 million in the renovation and upfitting of the DEX building, which is on 25 acres. Thirty employees will work at the facility.
