Quikrete FastSet Anchoring Epoxy
February 20, 2013

Quikrete FastSet Anchoring Epoxy is a two-component structural adhesive designed for the horizontal or vertical rapid anchoring of bolts, threaded rods, railings and rebar dowels into concrete or masonry. The adhesive comes in a single cartridge that can be loaded into a standard caulk gun. The low odor adhesive consists of a dual-component, non-sag formula that is solvent-free and will achieve 10,000 PSI. To apply, screw a static mixer nozzle onto the cartridge and place the cartridge into a caulk gun. The adhesive should be dispensed from the bottom of a hole, filling approximately 5/8” of its depth. A threaded rod or rebar should then be inserted to the bottom of the hole and turned clockwise. The adhesive sets in four to five minutes, which makes it ideal for horizontal and vertical applications. The adhesive can support heavy loads after curing for two hour.
