Cat 834H
November 15, 2007

The Cat 834H wheel dozer is designed for rugged duties associated with mining, quarries and utilities. The machine has a 554-horsepower, Cat C18 ACERT engine and a 103,849-pound operating weight. The impeller clutch torque converter (TCTC) left pedal control allows the operator to modulate rimpull to the wheels and slow the machine down without reducing engine speed. Standard, in-cab programmable kickouts are located in the upper left panel. The touch-screen Cat Detect display alerts the operator when objects have entered critical areas around the equipment, and the radar view provides a visual indication of where the objects are relative to the machine.
