The high performance of Atlas Copco’s QAS 330 kVA features low exhaust emissions in line with Tier III regulations. The generator is powered by a John Deere, six-cylinder diesel engine with direct injection, turbo-charged and inter-cooled offering 362 hp at 1800 rpm. Atlas Copco QAS series generators are renowned for their low noise operation. A sound attenuated and rugged Zincor steel enclosure on the QAS 330 ensures the unit emits just 73 dba at 23 ft at 75 percent load. One of Atlas Copco’s focus areas was to ensure the reliability of the unit to boost the customer’s uptime and thereby his productivity and revenue. For the new design, special attention was given to ease of installation and operation, service and safety. Large doors and service plates ensure superior accessibility to all service points. All critical service points are located on one side of the generator (single-side servicing point). The units have a 500 hour service interval.
