EPA to hold two hearings on Tier 3 proposed rulemaking

epa logoThe U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold two public hearings in April on the Tier 3 proposed rulemaking, which would set new vehicle emissions standards and lower the sulfur content of gasoline in 2017 if passed.

The hearings, which will address how motor vehicles impact air quality and public health, will take place April 24 and 29, and each will begin at 10 a.m. local time.

The first hearing, on April 24, will be in the Sonseta Hotel–Philadelphia at 1800 Market Street, Philidelphia, Pennsylvania 19103. The second hearing, on April 29, will be at The Doubletree–Magnificent Mile at 300 E. Ohio Street, Chicago, Illinois 60611.
