Ennis Traffic Safety Solutions has sold its U.K.-based contracting subsidiary, Prismo Contracting Services, to DBi Services of Hazleton, Pa. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
“We’ve thought about divesting our contracting division to concentrate on our core horizontal road marking products for quite some time,” John Midea, president of Ennis Traffic, said in a written press statement. “Ennis Prismo operated our only contracting division, so this decision was good for our international operations, the Prismo Contracting Services group and DBi. We will continue to concentrate on our core safety solutions products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This sale gives DBi a wonderful opportunity to expand their international operations.”
