If you’re looking for a truck telematics system that links maps, traffic reports and navigation with business applications, the new TomTom Bridge Hub allows you to connect with any smartphone, tablet or HDMI device to create enhanced mobility solutions.

With a CAN Bus interface and 4G/LTE connectivity you can link your driver to the back office and the vehicle in real time.

Your applications interface with the TomTom navigation using software development kits that allow you to customize solutions and give you control over the platform for your unique business needs. Three different hardware models give you fit-for-purpose functionality.

The TomTom Bridge Hub will be compliant with the Electronic Logging Device mandate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Due to become law on December 18, the ELD mandate requires a variety of commercial heavy-duty trucks to maintain electronic log books rather than the paper logs previously required. For more on the ELD mandate see our special report here.

The TomTom Bridge Hub is available for pre-order for shipment in the fourth quarter of 2017. Prices start at $419.
