The Easy Gripper 2400 T2 has three contact points on the tire, designed for safer handling and better control.Just Easy Tools has added a 2-ton OTR version of its Easy Gripper tire handler.
The Easy Gripper 2400-T2 is designed as an attachment for forklifts, front loaders and truck cranes. It follows the same three-point grip design as the 1-ton version. It provides a firm grip when pulling wheels and tires off and pushing them on, as well as when loading, unloading and transporting tires inside and outside, the company says. It also gives a precise rotation.
When dealing with narrow fenders, the Easy Gripper has a slim top arm that can fit under the fender, while the other two arms fit on the tire below the fender, providing control.
The 2400-T2 can handle up to 35-inch tires, and with extended arms, single tires up to 27.00R49.
The company says it has successfully completed its test phase with SuperDaek Service, the first user of the device, which will be available in the United States. It next plans to test the Easy Gripper in underground mining settings.
