Doosan Infracore America Engine Group Granted CARB, EPA full certifications for natural gas engines

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board (CARB) has granted Doosan Infracore America’s Engine Division full certification from both agencies for their clean, natural gas engines in the United States.

The North American engine division, headquartered in Suwanee, Ga., is now fully certified to sell engines across the United States.

The company claims its clean engines are now 10 percent more fuel efficient than its competitors.

The lean burn engine technology found in the engines has been deployed to provide efficient, reliable, and low emission performance because conventional fuel lean burn technologies have reached their limits as emission regulations have become more stringent.
