What has 43 inches of track on the ground, trenches down to 36 inches and is more nimble on tight jobsites than an excavator?

Meet Ditch Witch’s latest, the SK850 footings machine.

Formed by a footings trencher attachment mounted directly to the frame of the company’s SK850 mini skid steer, the footings machine is built for slab construction, digging trenches up to 16 inches wide and 36 inches deep.

Ditch Witch says the machine can trench from either a centerline or offset position and has the stability to cross-trench with the best of them.

Auto-throttle comes standard and reduces engine throttle when there is no load on the machine.

The machine features a 74-square-inch operator’s platform with dual-lever drive controls while hydraulic flow can be maintained via a footpedal.

A monochrome LCD displays engine diagnostics, including auto-throttle status.
