Following two weeks of increased costs, on-highway diesel fuel prices decreased in most regions of the United States this week, our sister site, Aggregates Manager reported.
Only two regions experienced increases. Diesel costs in the Central Atlantic region inched $0.003 per gallon, while diesel prices in the Rocky Mountain region jumped $0.015 per gallon.
California experienced the sharpest decline, with diesel costs dropping $0.028 per gallon since last week and $0.184 per gallon compared to a year ago.
National diesel costs are continuing to decline. On-highway diesel prices in the U.S. are $0.010 per gallon less than a week ago and have decreased $0.017 per gallon year-over-year.
