The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has launched DelDOT GATEWAY as an online source for details about pavement projects, bridges, snow removal, traffic data and transit and rail maps, among other transportation information for the state.

Information available on GATEWAY includes:

  • Legislative districts for both the state Senate and House
  • Transportation data for traffic counts
  • Rail lines map
  • Transit map
  • Trails and paths
  • Aeronautics map
  • State strategies (policies and spending)
  • Functional classification of roads
  • Paving program details (roads being paved and rehabilitated)
  • Bridges (status and specifications)
  • Evacuation routes (primary and secondary)
  • Snow removal program

“The GATEWAY will help both the general public and DelDOT internal staff in being more informed and efficient,” the agency says. “Much like the current DelDOT App that provides the public with real time information concerning the performance and operation of the transportation system, the GATEWAY will allow one-stop access to more static data sets.”

DelDOT’s GATEWAY can be accessed here.
