Dana names new CEO

Driveshaft and axle manufacturer Dana has named James Sweetnam as president and chief executive officer.

Sweetnam most recently served as president of Eaton’s global truck group.

Dana said that John Devine, who most recently served as chairman and CEO, will continue as the company’s executive chairman.

Sweetnam led Eaton’s $2.3 billion truck business, which manufactures, markets and sells transmissions, clutches and drivetrain systems to global truck manufacturers.
