Construction worker arrested after attacking co-worker with forklift in Texas

crime sceneA worker on a Texas jobite was fortunate to have survived an attack last week after an apparent disagreement led a co-worker to attack him with a forklift.

According to a report from KWTX, Baylor police arrested and charged Jason Dale Matus, 37, with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on March 18.

Police told the station that while on the jobs, Matus rammed a co-workers pickup truck with the forklift.

Matus’ exact motive for the attack wasn’t disclosed and it’s unclear whether he made the attack with a small forklift or a telehandler.
