Camso has acquired the Stanley Industrial Tires distributorship, which serves parts of Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana.

The manufacturer of rubber tracks, wheels, undercarriage systems and off-road tires says the purchase – its second in Texas in the past few months – will allow it to expand its tire service and distribution in Louisiana and in the Dallas, Waco and Gladewater areas of Texas. In July, Camso acquired Omni Industrial Tire, which serves San Antonio, McAllen, Corpus Christi and Laredo.

The company also hopes to grow its market share in the material handling and compact construction markets and notes that Texas is home to the second-largest material handling equipment market in the United States, after California.

Stanley has been distributing industrial tires for 20 years, according to its website. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
