The Brandt Group of Companies is buying Nortrax Canada and Nortrax Quebec, uniting all John Deere Construction & Forestry dealerships in Canada.

Brandt says the “landmark deal will unite all John Deere Construction & Forestry dealerships in Canada under the Brandt banner and deliver unprecedented access to Deere products, parts and support services to Canadian contractors.”

With the acquisition, which is expected to be finalized in late October, Brandt will own and operate 56 Deere dealerships across Canada and employ more than 3,400 people. Locations added include those in Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Brandt says the acquisition gives it a comprehensive retail footprint and further establish the firm’s position as the largest privately-owned Deere dealer in the world.
