Deere opens Miami parts center to serve Latin America

John Deere has opened a Regional Distribution Center in Miami. The 115,000-square-foot parts facility will serve all Latin America countries, with the exception of Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, which have their own in-country centers.

Kobelco Construction Machinery USA is adding four compact machinery dealers to its growing network, solely representing Kobelco’s mini excavator line in the United States.

Kobelco USA promotes Lumpkins, Folden to key management roles

Construction Machinery USA has promoted George Lumpkins to general manager for product marketing and developing and Ken Folden to national service manager for the excavator division.

Lumpkins brings more than 45 years of industry experience to his new position, most recently as general manager with the Texas-based company. His expertise is in construction equipment sales, service, engineering and as a product specialist.

Folden began servicing Kobelco excavators in 1999 and became a service representative in 2004. For the past four years, he’s been the Canadian service manager. He’ll relocate to the company’s U.S. headquarters in Katy, Texas.

Schramm, former JCB CEO Mirdha named to new positions at Terex

Terex has named Thomas Schramm as vice president of sales and product support for Europe and the Middle East, and Arjun Mirdha has been appointed to the newly created position of chief commercial officer.

Schramm is responsible for driving the sales and product support strategy and the lead team members in Europe and the Middle East for Terex and Demag mobile and crawler crane models. He will also serve as a Demag global brand ambassador. He began his career at Demag in 1987 and has held several sales positions at Demag and Terex, including director of international sales. Terex has also named Carsten von der Geest as vice president of global commercial operations and global used equipment.

H&E Equipment Services opens new Wash. branch

H&E Equipment Services has opened a new Lynnwood, Washington-area branch, located at 12406 Mukilteo Speedway in Mulkiteo. The 13,230-square-foot facility will serve customers in northern King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island and San Juan counties.
