Hyundai adds 10 new features to upgrade R35Z-9A excavator

Hyundai has upgraded its R35Z-9A compact excavator with new features based on feedback from its dealers and customers, including improvements to the bucket and dozer blade and for switching attachments.

The R35Z-9A zero-tail swing, 3 ½-ton excavator was introduced in 2015. And during Hyundai’s 2017 Voice of the Customer event, it heard from North American dealers and customers on ways to improve it.

Kenworth unveils W990: Heavy hauler builds upon storied legacy of W900

Kenworth unveiled its latest truck tonight at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway where truck dealers, customers and reporters were given a chance to get a close-up look at the newest addition to the storied W900 line, the W990.

Prior to introducing the truck, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice president Mike Dozier paid homage to the historic W900—the longest running vehicle model in U.S. history. Production on the W900 began in 1961.

Cat intros 906M, 907M, 908M Ag Handlers designed for farm applications

With a two-speed hydrostatic transmission, travel speeds up to 21.7 miles per hour and multiple dedicated hydraulic pumps, Caterpillar has introduced Ag Handler configurations for three of its compact wheel loaders the company says are designed specifically for tackling the unique challenges of farming tasks.

Mack’s new 8×8 MSVS SMP military truck carries everything from cranes to shelters

Mack Truck‘s Defense division has delivered the first of its new military trucks, a medium duty vehicle designed to go anywhere and do a little bit of everything.

Dubbed the Medium Support Vehicle System Standard Military Pattern, or MSVS SMP, the first of these 8×8 trucks were delivered to the Canadian Department of National Defense earlier this month.

As skid steers and CTLs tackle more grading work, Deere brings on-board grade indication to large G-Series machines

Calling the new feature an “industry exclusive,” John Deere has introduced an on-board grade indication option for its large-frame G-Series skid steers and compact track loaders.

The feature is available in a retrofit field kit, or as a factory-installed option on 330G and 332G skid steers, and 331G and 333G compact track loaders.
