Earlier this month, Elkhart County (Indiana) Commissioners signed a $1.27 million deal with Niblock Excavating Inc. to keep road paving projects going through the fall, The Goshen News reports.

The work is part of the second phase of the Indiana highway department’s paving program for 2018.

The roads affected by the contract include part of C.R. 8 near Bonneyville Mill County Park, part of C.R. 16 near Elcona Country Club, and part of C.R. 142 near New Paris, as well as locations in Elkhart.

The contract requires the work to be finished by November 30, 2018.
