According to KATV, Matthew Kyle Ferrari, 28, was operating the crane at the Highway 7 construction site north of Dover, Ark. It’s not known exactly how Ferrari was injured.
Ferrari was operating the crane to help conduct the highway improvements when he was somehow injured. He later was pronounced dead by the Pope County coroner at the scene of the accident.
Local emergency responders from Pope County were at the scene, and local police are still investigating how exactly Ferrari died.
