Beautiful Gulf Porsche Le Mans-inspired F-150 outshines rest of Ford’s SEMA concept trucks (PHOTOS)

Updated Nov 9, 2015

Unlike Chevy, Ram and Nissan, Ford didn’t have much news to share at SEMA this year. But what the automaker lacked in that department, it made up for in F-150s customized by third-party shops.

Right next to the prototype 2017 Raptor, sat reimagined F-150s from Galpin Auto Sports, Forgiato and Airdesign USA. You can click through the gallery above to take a look at each truck, arranged in the order of their specification sets below.

In our eyes, the most impressive F-150 of all those Ford brought to the show floor was the F-150 dreamed up by Galpin.

Galpin Auto Sports Gulf Porsche Le Mans F-150

Sporting the iconic colors and Gulf Oil logo of the Porsche 917 that won at Le Mans in the late 60s and early 70s, this F-150 from Galpin Auto Sports features a beautiful custom grille , a modified XTR body kit from Addictive Dessert Designs (ADD) and custom front and rear off road bumpers and chase rack from SMP Fabrication with integrated Rigid Industries lighting.

The chassis features an ADD stage 3 suspension kit, Sway-A-Way 3.0 front coilover suspension and bypass shock rear suspension and a custom reinforced rear-end housing from Galpin.

The truck sits on Cooper SST Pro 37-inch tires wrapped around 20-inch ADV1 ADV6R Truckspec CS wheels.

Forgiato F-150

Ford says the distinctive feature behind this F-150 is the Whipple supercharger boosting the 5.-liter V8 to a full-on roar. The truck features a Rancho 6-inch lift kit and sits on Nitto Tires wrapped around Forgiato Terra 24-inch x 14-inch wheels.

The body kit is by Airdesign with Fab Fours premium bumpers and a LEER tonneau cover.

Airdesign F-150

To create its 2015 SEMA F-150, Airdesign used a litany of its latest aftermarket products including: a front bumper guard, hood scoop, fender vents, fender flares, door moldings, rear tailgate applique, spoiler and floor liners.

Ford says all of these modifications are relatively easy to carry out as well, making the look of this truck fairly achievable in the comfort of your garage or driveway.

Additional modifications to this F-150 including a Gibson cat-back stainless exhaust, Vortech intercooler upgrade, Bilstein 5160 series Lifted performance shocks with reservoir and 2-piece, 20-inch wheels and 33-inch Mud Gripper tires, both by Fuel.
