Ammann, located in the ConExpo 2020 Silver Lot at Booth S-5254, will display its latest generation of heavy compactors, continuous asphalt-mixing plant with recycled asphalt (RAP) utilization technology and range of light compaction equipment during the show.

The company recently opened a new U.S. facility in Davie, Florida. The 70,000-square-foot facility houses a warehouse, office space, a training center and an outdoor area to demonstrate asphalt plants and compactors.

In October, the company unveiled its ACP 300 ContiHRT continuous asphalt-mixing plant, which can produce mix with more than 60 percent RAP content. A preheating process gently warms RAP and prevents bitumen oxidation, minimizing fuel burn and reducing levels of carbon dioxide and other pollutants.

Also on display will be a new line of light tandem rollers – the ARX 16-2, the ARX 26-2 and the ARX 45-2, with weights ranging from 1 ton to 4.5 tons. The machines feature an electronic drive lever designed to provide advanced control and maneuverability.  Additional machines include the ARS 70 and ARS 110 soil compactors, which feature a no-rear-axle concept, positioning the engine, coolers, liquid tanks and hydraulic components in the engine compartment.

Additional equipment shown will include rammers, vibratory plate compactors, walk-behind rollers and trench rollers.
