Although Australian Alan Newey is obviously touting his safety presentations, he has a message that’s visually arresting. Alan’s started Chat Safety, which has a potent message: If you want to emphasize how important safety is, use the viewpoint of an injured worker.

Alan lost his right arm to a conveyor belt in an industrial accident, and says he spent 10 years in recovery and rehabilitation. He’s found a new focus, presenting his safety insights to variety of groups, including mines, construction and petroleum companies, associations and unions.

His company now travels around to workplaces across Australia making presentations on the importance of safety. Be sure to check out Alan’s website by clicking here.
