Terry Lewis joined the Akkerman team in early May filling the newly created position of manufacturing engineer. Lewis’ responsibilities include process development, improvement and documentation, equipment planning and implementation and facilities planning.
Brad Wheeler, design engineer, joined Akkerman in June. His main areas of responsibility include design support for the earth pressure balance machine and microtunneling machine product lines.
