2007 WINNER – Dan Young – Double D Land Clearing – Crystal City, Texas

Dan Young, owner of Double D Land Clearing in Crystal City, Texas, received more than $100,000 in prizes at Equipment World magazine’s Contractor’s Dream Package event hosted November 8 by Grande Ford in San Antonio, Texas. Young, a longtime reader of Equipment World, was surprised when notified his entry was the winning submission, as his wife Peggy signed up for the Dream Package while renewing her magazine subscription at www.equipmentworld.com.

Young’s Dream Package included a new Ford F550 super duty truck, a Ditch Witch SK350 skid steer, a Trimble grade-control system, a Baldor generator, a Sage Oil Vac portable oil change system, $5,000 in Werk-Brau attachments, lubricants from ConocoPhillips, an underhood VMAC air compressor and an Ingersoll Rand plate compactor, rammer concrete saw, rapid screed and balloon light.
