Woods Equipment sold to Blount

Investment firm Genstar Capital has completed the sale of Woods Equipment to Blount International for about $185 million. Woods, headquartered in Oregon, Illinois, makes attachments and implements for the construction, agriculture and grounds care markets under the brand names of Woods, Alitec, Central Fabricators, Gannon, Wain-Roy, WoodsCare and TISCO.
