What to see at ICUEE 2017: Ditch Witch, Doosan, HammerHead in Area K

ICUEE is preparing for record exhibit space for the October 3-5 Demo Show at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

Here is a sample of some of the equipment ICUEE attendees will see in Area K:

Ditch Witch, booths K155 and K270

Ditch Witch’s JT40 horizontal directional drillDitch Witch’s JT40 horizontal directional drill

Ditch Witch will display its latest horizontal directional drills, the JT40 and the JT40 All Terrain, which match advanced technology with tough drilling sites. Show attendees will also get to experience the company’s HDD virtual reality training simulator, which simulates a jobsite through a two-screen display and joystick. Also on display, the RT125 utility tractor with its new cab option; the new Ditch Witch Rock Monster backreamer and all-terrain drill pipe and housing for hard-rock drilling; and the new ST37X stand-on trencher, the VP30 vibratory plow and the MT16 microtrencher.

Doosan Portable Power’s P185 utility mount air compressor has a rated operating pressure of 100 psi for powering handheld air tools, sandblasting, cable laying, pipeline testing and paint stripping. Doosan made access easier for maintenance and repair and added backlit LED Quick View Screens for viewing up to 13 parameters. The compressor runs on a Tier 4 Final 49-horsepower Doosan engine, which has a diesel oxidation catalyst aftertreatment system.

HammerHead Trenchless, booth K265

Hammer Head Trenchless LogoHammerHead Trenchless will show its new 22-ton, radio remote-control HydroGuide HG2200 winch for pipe-bursting, slip-lining or splitting applications. The winch can be set up and taken down within minutes. A push of a button launches the hydraulic boom. Depth can be fine-tuned to 20 feet with precision controls. It is available in a wheeled and tracked configuration.
