The big show is fast approaching, and ConExpo exhibitors have given us a sneak peek into what they’ll have in store for those attending the March 7-11 massive exhibition. Here’s the spotlight on three exhibitors in the Silver Lot:

Seeker 5.0 simplifies the use ground-penetrating radar (GPR) software by automating several settings, such as gain control, which adjusts the gain of the radar signal to enhance underground target identification and layer tracing. Seeker 5.0 also automatically recognizes and confirms the GPR system’s antenna and configures antenna-specific settings such as depth range and encoder interval.

Booth activities: Demonstrations of ground-penetrating radar technology.

Other equipment on display: Ground-penetrating radar systems, Quantum Imager, Quantum Mini, Q5C, Q25C ground-penetrating radar systems

The EX Series asphalt plants from Asphalt Drum Mixers use single-drum counterflow technology, featuring long aggregate drying and mixing times. The plants produce 100 to 425 tons of material per hour and can also process as much as 50 percent RAP. The counterflow technology uses separate drying and mixing zones to achieve maximum heat transfer and fuel efficiency, virtually eliminating hydrocarbon emissions, according to the company. The EX Series comes in both portable and stationary models.

The iCON iGD4SP grading solution for dozers equipped with 6-way blades provides exact calculation of blade tilt and angles. The system allows you to run machines in automatic mode and keep precision without needing to rework areas. The scalable unit allows you to expand your system as your projects grow in scope and size. Small diameter masts give clear visibility to the blade’s working area.

Additional equipment at booth: Machine controls, 3D system, driller and pilers system, construction layout, robots, lasers, cable detection, reality capsture, scan stations, software and other technologies.

(Note: Leica’s Pegasus:Backpack will be showcased in ConExpo’s Tech Experience, located in front of the South Hall.)
