L50HAlong with an updated engine Volvo’s new L45H and L50H wheel loaders boast substantial hydraulic improvements and faster cycle times.
L40HMatching ample power with machines compact enough for work in confined spaces, these new loaders are powered by a Tier 4 Final Volvo DJ4 engine producing 100.5 and 116.7 horsepower in the L45H and L50H, respectively. Full specs are listed below.
Volvo says both machines feature a load-sensing system, tailoring hydraulic power to demand. That in conjunction with the new engine amounts to a 15-percent boost to fuel economy over previous models.
The improved hydraulics feature a 20-percent larger pump capacity and provide 26-percent faster cycle times and faster response. Volvo says an optional Boom Suspension System, which absorbs shock and reduces bouncing and bucket spillage, can bring operators an additional up to 20 percent productivity boost.
Inside the cab operators will find ergonomic controls bolstered by a hydrostatic transmission along with a climate control system. Joystick lever controls are an option.
Both loaders are compatible with a wide range of Volvo attachments.
