Video: When to choose winter tires

|  October 25, 2012 |

Check out this helpful video from the folks at Yokohama tires. As the cold sets in across the country, many will begin to wonder whether or not they should opt for winter tires or if the all-season tires they’re already using will suffice.

As the video explains, it all depends on where you live. If you see a lot of snow in your area, chances are you’ll want to go with winter tires as they’re specifically designed for icy conditions. Meanwhile, all-season tires can handle most of what you throw at them, but they’re not meant to handle any one condition extremely well.
