VIDEO: Volvo engineer risks his own head in testing truck’s ground clearance

Volvo FMX ground clearance adVolvo is really on a roll recently with its new series of viral ads for its FMX truck. Last week we showed you a pretty complex stunt in which a a hamster drives the FMX up a quarry to show off the truck’s steering. But this week have a very simple one meant to show off the truck’s high ground clearance. To show off how confident he is in the truck’s ground clearance, Volvo engineer┬áRoland Svensson put his head on the line. The FMX’s ground clearance is just under 1 foot. Roland’s head is 10.8 inches tall, leaving him just about 1.2 inches of space…if all goes well. Watch below.
