Just another few feet of error and this dump truck very likely would have been at the bottom of this steep grade rather than clinging to the side.
Thankfully, mining operations have massive excavators like the Liebherr 974 seen here around to counteract the treacherous grades dumpers encounter. In the rescue video below, skip ahead to around the 3 minute mark. The excavator operator starts by smartly emptying the truck’s bed of any debris before carefully, but swiftly, uprighting the truck from the grade before sending it on it’s way.
