VIDEO: Excavator bucket-boosts itself onto a railcar in a bit of heavy machinery parkour

This is one of those videos where you might not be extremely impressed by the operator’s skill, but maybe just a little bit blown away by his sheer will in accomplishing a highly questionable feat. According to the video’s description, this guy is climbing up there to unload crushed rock. And while there are probably several other operators that could have done this faster, this guy does get it done and, as extremely unsafe as this was, he’s the one who put it on YouTube for the world to see. That’s got to count for something right? That being said, we’d hate to be the person at this company to explain everything to the Cat dealer when it comes time to fix whatever problems climbing around with your bucket causes.
