Vibco’s Stik-It concrete vibrator mounts, introduced at World of Concrete 2013 in Las Vegas, attaches to concrete forms without the need to weld, drill or perform other invasive work. [For a video of the Vibco Stik-It concrete vibrator mounts, go to https://youtu.be/6L8HMuIZ4eI.)

The concrete vibrator uses a venturi air system to create positive suction tightly securing the vibrator to the concrete form, meaning that permanent vibrator brackets are not needed.

The mounts work on all types of concrete forms including walls, columns, insulated concrete forms (ICF), precast forms, concrete countertops, lightweight forms including cardboard and polyethylene, architectural/decorative forms, according to VIBCO.

It’s notable that the concrete vibrators also work on curved concrete forms such as columns and footings forms. They are also portable and simple to use like a traditional poker-style internal concrete vibrator but with the enhanced consolidation and finish quality of an external concrete form vibrator, particularly when there is when there is heavy rebar.

The VIBCO STKIT906WALL and STKIT906AMWALL are specially designed for use on concrete wall systems. Both the standard and Air-Miser versions pair with the VIBCO SVRFS-4000AL. The STKIT906WALL and SVRFS-4000AL vibrator combination retails for around $2,000.

VIBCO’s Stik-It vibrator mounts require 80 psi and draw 8 cfm. The vibrator is independently powered from the mounting system, making the line compatible with pneumatic, electric, hydraulic and dc powered vibrators .

The mounts come in three sizes to accommodate more than 40 different vibrator models. –by Tina Grady Barbaccia, Executive Editor, Better Roads, at World of Concrete 2013 in Las Vegas.
