Venco Venturo’s new van crane designed for the Ford Transit 250 Mid-Roof features a horizontally articulated jib boom that allows for a deep reach within the van. The crane, introduced at the Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, has a capacity of 1,000 pounds.

The key feature is how the crane is attached to the van—a dual floor and ceiling mounted mast that is integrated into the van structure to maximum structural integrity. A manual jackleg that installs in the Transit’s standard Class III receiver hitch is available to further stabilize the van.

Roller bearings on the boom are designed to allow for smooth loading and unloading. An additional safety feature includes a cable controlled multi-position rotation lock that lets the operator lock the crane in multiple positions.
