Training pays, even in tough times

Training is too often the first thing that gets cut in lean times. That’s not the case though with the Kansas City-based Weitz Company. With 1,150 employees the company remains committed to spending its $2-million training budget and is using a computer-based system to reach employees as far away as Guam.
