Report Equipment Thefts to National Equipment Register (NER)
Why Report Thefts to NER?
To increase the chances of recovering stolen heavy equipment, Equipment World encourages our readers to report thefts directly to NER whenever possible. Theft Reporting ensures that your equipment details are checked by an equipment analyst, corrected for serial number accuracy if necessary and then made available to law enforcement across the country, 24-hours a day, through NER database searches.
Theft Map
The NER Theft Map displays a select listing of recent equipment losses from around the country. It is a work in progress and is not indicative of all losses reported to NER. Markers are designated by City and Zip code and do not reflect exact location of theft. CLICK HERE to view the NER Theft Map.
There is NO COST to report a theft to the NER
Losses are also checked against used equipment sales and if your loss qualifies (value and speed of reporting), a regional alerts will be sent to area law enforcement.
