the_rental_showAmerican Rental Association’s (ARA) The Rental Show opens its doors February 7-10, 2010, to all heavy construction, light construction and party/event rental companies. The Show will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, and provides a streamlined schedule, educational seminars and networking opportunities.

The Show offers three full days of educational seminars and exhibits. Full-day workshops on February 7 include Events and Tents and two Business Management Series seminars. The first of the series, “Extreme Leadership at Work and Beyond,” teaches key principles of leadership through real-life examples and promotes extreme leadership both on the job and in life. The second seminar, “How to Increase Your Company’s Bankability, Performance and Value,” helps business owners increase profitability.

Before the exhibition hall opens each day, The Rental Show offers 90-minute sessions designed for specific industry needs. The full list of 11 seminars offered through the show can be found on the show’s online schedule. All 90-mintue seminars will be available after the show through downloadable podcasts from The Rental Show’s website.

Along with educational seminars, the show provides exciting networking opportunities for attendees. Networking events include the 25th Annual Golf Tournament, the “Mike Martinie Open,” at the Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Florida. Attendees will also be able to network while watching the Super Bowl from Miller’s Ale House on International Drive. The Ale House provides an atmosphere for exhibitors and attendees to eat, watch the game and network.

The keynote on February 8, “Creating Quality: 10 Keys to Creating a Quality Organization,” will be delivered by Pat Williams, senior vice president of the Orlando Magic. After William’s speech, the show features an induction ceremony for the Rental Hall of Fame, ARA’s volunteer recognition awards and industry updates.

Exhibitors come together on the convention center floor for a full day of exhibitions on February 8. New exhibitors will be easy to spot in the center of the floor. During the exhibition, a networking hour on the show floor allows everyone to relax after a long day of exhibitions.
