Tensar appoints roadway systems product manager

Tensar International Corp. has appointed Bryan Gee as roadway systems product manager.
In his new role, Gee will be responsible for managing Tensar’s portfolio of roadway products and systems, including Tensar TriAx Geogrid, the GlasGrid Pavement Reinforcement System and GlasPave Waterproofing Paving Mat, Spectra System and Dimension System.
Prior to his appointment, Gee worked as Tensar’s Southeast Region Sales Manager. He has 26 years of experience working in engineering and energy fields, including 15 years as a consulting engineer.
“Tensar was looking for someone to manage Tensar’s portfolio of roadway products and systems with experience, a passion for innovative technology and a desire to help solve the problems our customers face,” said John Bolton, Director of Marketing, Tensar. “Bryan’s experience and ambition make him a perfect fit to help the company capitalize on the significant growth opportunities within the geosynthetic soil reinforcement and stabilization market.”
Gee is a licensed professional engineer and has served as the engineer of record on more than 50 projects.
He received a B.S.E. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University as well as an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University. He has published and presented numerous papers on geosynthetics and other engineering topics.
“Tensar is always working on new products and systems to solve the problems our customers face, and we have a lot of exciting ideas that we will be bringing to the market in the near future,” Gee said in a written statement. “As the product manager, I am looking forward to the challenges of directing those efforts and maintaining Tensar’s position as the technology leader.”
Gee will continue to reside in Atlanta where he has lived for the past 12 years and will work from Tensar’s corporate office in Alpharetta.
