Steel Joist Institute will host its “Design of Steel Joist Roofs to Resist Uplift” webinar on April 25 from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
The webinar, which will highlight the key points of the recently rewritten Technical Digest No. 6, will discuss how to effectively communicate to the joist manufacturer the design requirements of the ASCE/SEI 7-10 wind provisions for open web steel joists and joist girders. Seminar presenters are Steel Joist Institute staff and steel joist engineering professionals.
Participants can earn 0.15 CEUs or 1.5 PDHs.
Individual registration is $40, and each person who registers will receive a link to the webinar and earn 0.15 CEUs or 1.5 PDHs. Site registration is $160, which allows multiple attendees from the same company to use one link to the webinar.
