Southeastern Equipment, which carries multiple construction equipment brands, has named Heath Watton and Mickey Gourley as vice presidents responsible for daily operations for all of the company’s locations across Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Indiana.

Watton joined Southeastern in 2003 as a salesman and most recently served as regional manager for Southeast Ohio. According to a company release, Southeastern hopes to capitalize on Watton’s “unique understanding of operations to expand the company’s reach.”

Gourley has been with the company since 1998 when he served as an outside salesman. He subsequently moved into higher management levels and most recently served as general manager.

“I am looking forward to seeing the contributions that Heath and Mickey will make in their new roles,” says President Charlie Patterson. “Both are veterans of the company and will be charged with enhancing and growing our equipment sales efforts as well as improving our product support capabilities. We look forward to their continued growth and leadership involvement with Southeastern.”

“As part of their new responsibilities, Gourley and Watton will be visiting each location in the coming months to refine intracompany communications in order to provide continuity and coordination among all of the branches,” the company adds.

Southeastern Equipment carries equipment from Case Construction, Kobelco, BOMAG, Gradall, Kubota Construction, Hyundai Construction, Etnyre, Vacall, Terex, Schwarze, Alamo Industrial, Eager Beaver Trailers, Superior Broom, Midland Machinery, Fecon, Genie, Skytrak, JLG and Sullair.
