Save a Benjamin and another $50 with early ARTBA convention registration

Registration for the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) 2009 National Convention is now available at, and attendees who register by June 15 will receive a $150 discount. Spouses registering will save $100.

The “Leading in a Tough Market” meeting them will feature a key session by a leading industry expert that is designed to help transportation design and construction firms “survive and thrive” during these unprecedented economic times.

The president of The Citadel will share his thoughts about the importance of strong leadership skills under adversity, and a veteran college basketball coach will explain “leadership and balance in work and life.”

Policy sessions will focus on the status of the federal surface transportation authorization bills, environmental, legal and safety issues, and a transportation construction market economic report. Project tours of the landmark Cooper River Bridge and a new U.S. Navy terminal containment wall are also on the agenda.
