Due to what Chrysler says was an “overwhelming response” to the Black Express package offered on the Ram 1500, Ram is extending the black-on-black exterior package to its HD 2500 and 3500 SRW models.
Everything but the glass and Cummins side badges on this pickup is black: 20-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, grille, front and rear bumpers and Ram head badges on the grille and tailgate.
The halogen projector headlamps have black bezels the turn signals feature 15 amber LEDs and three more for the side markers. The taillights feature a black trim as well and are comprised of 15 red LEDs with three red LEDs for the side markers.
The package also includes Ram’s Parkview with cargo-view camera, Parksense, RamBox storage, manual transmission for diesel and link coil rear suspension on the 2500 with air suspension option on both the 2500 and 3500.
Pricing for Ram HD pickups with the new Black package starts at $42,140, plus $1,195 destination charge and orders are being accepted now.
