Yankton, South Dakota – September 14, 2009 – ProSizer® 2612V is Astec Mobile Screens’ solution for processing recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) with more efficiency and greater profitability.
The ProSizer incorporates a double-deck VariVibe® high frequency screen and a Horizontal Shaft Impactor (HSI) to separate the fractionated recycled asphalt pavement (FRAP) into multiple sizes.

The machine can boost productivity because of its unique stealth tappet redesign, hydraulic screen angle adjustment and rotary screen tensioning system. The stealth tappet redesign provides vibrators with increased serviceability, better performance and longer durability.
The ProSizer’s distinctive design includes an increased ground clearance which provides easier transportation and maneuverability as well as an open top design for full use of the 24” return conveyor. The machine also has central grease points and easy-to-reach engine controls for routine service.
With a highly portable design and a set up time of less than 15 minutes, the customer has the ability to move around to multiple job sites and increase RAP usage while adding flexibility and improved control in mix designs.
