Pettibone adds a big dog to the boneyard

With this in mind, Pettibone set out to address these issues with the unveiling of their new 15,000 pound capacity Extendo 1530 machine at this years World of Concrete expo in Las Vegas, NV held February 2nd thru 6th.

Pettibone Vice President of Sales and Marketing Pete Haikio says the release of the tendo 1530 fills an important need among contractors, especially those using large scaffolding units that need to be moved around a job site. “The 1530 really has the capacity to not only haul large loads safely, but it can actually save contractors money by eliminating the need for multiple machines on a job sie to do the tasks the Pettibone can do its own.”


The new 1530 model sits atop the Pettibone Extendo line boasting a 15,000 pound (6,803 kg) lifting capacity combined with a 30 foot 10 inch (9.4 m) lift height. When configured with an optional front baler attachment, the 1530 becomes ideally suited for use in highway construciton and pipe yard applications. This underscores Pettibone”s platform engineering strategy that benefits customers by enabling multiple machine versions off one basic platform. As with all Extendo modles, the new 1530 offers standard equipment that includes full time four-wheel drive planetary axles; four-wheel, two-wheel, abd crab steering modes; rapid response piston pump hydraulics; and unmatched visibility.


Pettibone represenatives showcased the new heavy hauler during the exhibits portion of the World of Concrete expo, allowing attendeed a first hand experience of he machines features and abilities. By adding a 15,000 pound material handler to the Extendo lineup, Pettibone commands an even stronger competitive position in the marketplace.
