The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has awarded Skelly and Loy a contract to provide remediation services throughout Pennsylvania.
The contract is for three years with two, one-year options for extensions. The value is estimated at $10 million to $12 million.
Skelly and Loy’s team will perform a full range of environmental remediation and investigative services on an as-needed basis, including, but not limited to the following: storage tank removal, replacement, and/or corrective action services; excavation of impacted soil and buried wastes; soil and groundwater remediation; asbestos inspection/abatement;
sampling and laboratory analysis; and waste survey, identification, and disposal as well as any other related remediation services.
The contract will cover all areas within the PennDOT highway right-of-way, facility property boundary, or the points of compliance as defined under the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act (Act 2) and any other applicable laws and/or policies.
Skelly and Loy has been the successful qualified bidder for this contract for the past 10 years.
