Noria offers training courses

In the coming months, Noria will offer public training courses with a focus on machinery lubrication, oil analysis and reliability. Four course choices will be available: Fundamentals of Machinery Lubrication, Practical Oil Analysis, Advanced Machinery Lubrication and Advanced Oil Analysis.

The Fundamentals of Machinery Lubrication course will focus on establishing a lubrication and oil analysis program through training in industrial lubricants, machinery lubrication and oil sampling. This course will take place in Birmingham, Alabama, February 7-9; Tulsa, Oklahoma, March 6-8; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, April 3-5; Houston, Texas, May 22-24; Orlando, Florida, June 12-14; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, July 10-12.

Additional courses in Fundamentals of Machinery Lubrication will be offered later this year in Toronto, Ontario; Nashville, Tennessee; Myrtle Beach, Florida; Calgary, Alberta; Las Vegas, Nevada; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Mobile, Alabama. Noria has not yet released specific dates for the courses in these cities.

The Practical Oil Analysis course will focus on oil analysis information such as oil sampling, lubricant health monitoring, contamination measurement and control and wear debris monitoring. This course will place in Birmingham, Alabama, February 7-9; Houston, Texas, May 22-24; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, July 10-12.

The Advanced Machinery Lubrication course will focus on advanced machinery lubrication topics such as lubricant selection, troubleshooting lubrication problems, metrics and PMs. This course will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, April 3-5, as well as in Nashville, Tennessee, though Noria has not yet determined a date for this location.

The Advanced Oil Analysis course will focus on wear debris analysis, fundamentals of machine wear, lubrication fundamentals, analyzing lubricant degradation and oil analysis program development and program management, and it will take place on March 6-8 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Fees for all training courses are $1,195 per person and include a comprehensive manual, training material information packet, daily lunch and refreshments. Groups of three or more will receive a discounted rate of $956 per person.

In addition to the courses, the International Council for Machinery Lubrication will offer onsite certification testing the Friday morning after each training course.
